Karen Straughan, also known by the "nom de net" girlwriteswhat, is a divorced, mother of two sons and a daughter, and a lifelong non-feminist. Over the last several years, and after much investigation, she has identified not only as a feminist critic, but as a staunch anti-feminist. Despite her lack of a university degree, her visual media material has been featured in high school, university and college social science and psychology classrooms in the United States, Canada and the UK, and she is one of the leading voices of the men's movement. When she's not harrying feminists, she can be found doing home renovations, avoiding daily housework, and working a run of the mill job. She has been speaking out fearlessly on gender issues since 2010.
